Chef Quest

honestly this was such a good game. the gameplay was satisfying and the story was great. i only wish it had gone on for longer. i wouldnt have minded doing repetitive tasks instead of using each recipe only once or twice. 

there is just one improvement i would suggest. increase the time it takes to grow. i found myself using the same two patches to farm all resources. increasing the time to grow would have incentivized using more patches, which would be satisfying to farm all at once.

fullscreen was nice to add. idk what down is as a spoiler- wait. ohh i get it. kinda more confusing than not having it in the description as the game explains it.

all in all a great game. i would have loved it to be longer with many more monsters to help, but it is good as it is.

You're really good at this. Very simple game, with consistent polish across each title. I love how you make games. It's starting to reshape what I feel can be done in games.

It was fun!

The goblins were just adorable! I really like the overall feel of the jokes, very much to my liking!!!

Planting vegetables was fun, and it was fun to be able to glide, jump big, and do little new things with new items.

I liked that the goblins got more range of motion with the items they were given, instead of being enhanced!

I like the goblin's smile, it's very cute.

Growing crops was instant fun and I made a lot of them.

I enjoyed the graphics and conversations with the monsters in the castle, and the excitement of going to new places was huge.

Thank you for the treat! This was a cute, well scoped, bite-sized experience. 

(It gave me a bit of Battle Chef Brigade flashbacks. Really appreciate the narrative design that it was all peaceful here! And the ending was so warm 😌)

Anyways, I loved this little playful riff on a metroidvania! The writing is perfect ❤️

(Could maybe use a bit more juice and physicality? Still great as is ✨)
