Congratulations on taking the first place at Ludum Dare 58! For a second, I had the thought in my head that this was complete nonsense, not a game, but you should have seen my face how dramatically everything changed and in general I was pleasantly surprised. It's a great project. I can't believe you made the game in 2 days

What if the laptops were solar-powered, and the longer you keep the curtains closed, the more battery the laptops lose?
And when Tax Man is looking through the window, you need to close the curtains before he breaks in through said window! There would then be an audio cue that would note that he's away from the window, meaning that you could charge your laptops again.
Does the phone do anything, by the way? I imagine that ignoring his calls will make the Tax Man come faster.
Yep, that's right! Ignoring him when he calls or looks through the window makes him speed up.

It's good but I was not expecting horror elements. Also players can just leave their windows closed so there's no point in having it and it just makes the game a lot darker.
I watched Idle Cub play your game on YouTube. I had to come try it out myself. This game is very well done. It is nice and short, and to the point. The next game I make will be more focused like this.

The game won't load for me, but the character art you showed looks incredible!
the first load take a while. but after that, it works. smh I'm working on why that first load takes for ever. I think it's the textures
